Do you have Windows Dedicated Servers?

Currently, we only offer our Dedicated Server plans with Linux distributions: AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, Debian, and CloudLinux operating systems. With root access, you can reinstall Windows yourself via IPMI using your license. Note that Windows licensing and support remain self-managed.

Is Dedicated Server hosting secure and private?

Absolutely. UWeb Solutions’ Dedicated Servers sit on their isolated hardware — no resource sharing whatsoever — so your data remains 100% private. Our network is built on a private peering fabric for rock-solid connectivity, and select servers include enterprise-grade hardware RAID for redundancy.

With Complete Server Management, you’ll get ModSecurity Web Application Firewall installation; plus our technicians routinely monitor your server for any issues.

That said, full root/administrator access means you, the client, remain ultimately responsible for implementing best-practice security measures — such as strong passwords, timely software updates, and secure application configurations — on the server.

Cloud VPS vs dedicated hosting: Which one should I choose?

When you buy a Dedicated Server for hosting, you are allocated one physical server in our datacenter with the highest level of access and complete freedom over its use. Unlike a Cloud VPS, there is no virtualization layer with dedicated web server hosting, so all its physical resources are available to you. A Dedicated Server also allows you full management control over its configuration and installations.

How do I scale over time with a dedicated web server hosting?

Scaling here means switching to a higher-tier plan. We don’t offer custom configurations (like adding RAM or bandwidth to an existing server), but you can easily move to a more powerful configuration when your needs grow.

How many websites can I host on a Dedicated Server?

As many as you like. Dedicated Hosting allows you to host multiple websites, but the exact number depends on a few factors:

1. Your server’s resources and the technologies you use

2. Your bandwidth requirements

3. Whether you have an HTML website or a CMS-based website

Due to the static nature of an HTML-designed website, you can host more websites. With CMS-based websites, you can host fewer websites due to an increase in RAM and CPU processing.

What is the setup time for a Dedicated Server? Are there any extra fees?

There is no additional setup fee for hosting Dedicated Servers. Once you’ve bought your Dedicated Server, our Risk Management specialists check your order and forward it to our Tech Team. They set up a server with a Linux-based operating system (OS), such as Ubuntu, Debian, CloudLinux, or AlmaLinux, and any other addons of your choice. From there, you’ll receive a Welcome Email with your access details and additional instructions. On average, the Dedicated Server setup process takes less than 4 hours to complete. The exception is for Dedicated Server customers who choose Complete Server Management, which may take longer. If this case, our 24/7 Support Team will personally reach out to you.

What is CloudLinux and how does it benefit web hosting services?

CloudLinux is an operating system designed for shared hosting providers.
